'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars' Season 8 Episode 5 Power Rankings

The fifth episode of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 8 aired this Friday, and we're down another queen. Plus with a top competitor having quit and the monumental Snatch Game behind us, we're really narrowing in on the end game.

This week we said goodbye to Heidi N Closet, who decided to send herself home, providing a stay of execution for the other seven girls. While pre-season, I had Heidi ranked as second most likely to win, she never fully actualized in a competition that seemed a bit too cut throat for her.

Last week I'd bumped her down to 4th place and had my suspicions that she'd be quitting soon based on the previous episodes.

Which brings us to the question: who will win Season 8 of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars?

To that end, I've put together a ranking of the 7 remaining queens competing on this season, ordered from least likely to most likely to be inducted into the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

It's a power ranking if you will, and while there are supposed spoilers on dark corners of the internet, I haven't read any of them. This ranking is also based on how likely the queen is to WIN the competition, not just go far.

Here's my ranking from last week after Episode 4 aired if you'd like to read. Feel free to swing back to Parade from week to week because I will be updating as the season progresses. Who will win RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 8? Episodes 5 Power Rankings:

7. Kahanna Montrese

Kahanna Montrese is only still in this competition because Heidi N Closet quit this week (and somewhere Tatianna is fuming). While Kahanna won early on, she's mostly floundered since, and she's the only queen left who has been in the bottom more than once.

This season, the queens have been mostly voting on track record, so if she winds up in the bottom again, she's likely to fall victim to "three strikes and you're out." I mean that Coco Montrese impression........

6. Jaymes Mansfield

While Kahanna is clearly at the bottom of the pack (and Jimbo is clearly at the top), the other five queens are all pretty neck and neck. While Jaymes Mansfield seems to be doing well if you look just at the track record (three tops!), and she's coming off a great Snatch Game performance as Jennifer Coolidge,

I think the judges are getting tired of her fashion choices and aesthetic. She also doesn't seem to be as close with the other queens, and I could see them opting to send her home over someone like Kandy Muse or Lala Ri.

5. Lala Ri

Speaking of Lala Ri, she had another fairly uneventful week with her Sukihana Snatch Game performance and "I'm just going to take a cloak off" Ruveal on the runway. I think the issue with Lala is that she's never going to out-funny the funny girls or out-fashion the fashion girls and starting next week, there won't be any "safe" queens.

4. Jessica Wild

I knocked Jessica Wild down a peg this week because she fell in the bottom for her Iris Chacon impersonation. Much ado was made in Untucked as to how Heidi should have been in the bottom instead of her, but honestly, we've seen Jessica basically do the same sexy shimmy in every challenge to date.

I'm just not sure if there is the versatility there for her to win. Her runways are consistent and she seems well-liked though, so I don't think her end is imminent.

3. Alexis Michelle

I think the big winner this week was Alexis Michelle. Sure, she didn't win the challenge (because no one is beating Jimbo these days), but she got stunning critiques from the judges and delivered one of the best Ruveal looks with her Into the Woods-inspired transformation.

Alexis is also showing herself again and again to be extremely game-savvy. She opted to side with Kandy this week over Heidi, and I think that she is one of the only queens who would send home Jimbo if given the chance. If say a Rusical lands Jimbo in the bottom and the Broadway queen wins, it might be time for "a little bit Alexis."

2. Kandy Muse

For someone who has done definitely average this season, Kandy still seems like she's destined to be at the end. She's yet to receive much of a negative critique from the judges, and she seems unflappable.

Also, FWIW I do believe Heidi when she said that Kandy is gunning for Jimbo. Kandy came for the money, and if that means sniping the Canadian queen, I think she'd do it. I can feel a Kandy rise coming, and Jimbo could be the victim.

1. Jimbo

Obviously Jimbo is in the top spot. She's won three challenges and the only other two winners were both in the bottom this week. Jimbo will 100% win this competition unless someone pounces on the opportunity to send her home.
